Our assessment centre is intended to help employees, teams, leaders and organizations gain a clear understanding of the key factors that are impacting the work environment. The data provided by these assessment tools can be utilized to create a "best place to work", where there is:

Our assessment surveys provide an objective picture of an organization's unique work environment. Assessment data identifies opportunities for change and improvement, and the surveys provide a concrete method for measuring progress towards improvement.
About the Assessment Tools:
This assessment website has been designed to objectively measure the key conditions, behaviours and leadership competencies necessary to create and maintain an effective work environment. The assessment surveys have been designed and implemented by Dr. Lorne Armstrong using proven measures of reliability and validity. They are designed to be user friendly and to objectively measure behavioural outcomes.Grey Fox provides assessment surveys in two categories:
Work Culture Surveys
Our Work Culture assessment surveys measure the core conditions that are highly correlated to employee commitment and work investment. There are three surveys in this category:
- Work Culture Survey: This survey measures the current work culture in the organization. This survey explores the values and behaviour norms of the organization. The Work Culture survey is designed to provide an understanding of employee work experiences; it is not intended to judge those experiences, but rather to provide direction for future planning and action.
- Work Life Quality and Satisfaction Survey: This survey measures the quality of employee work experience and recognizes that it is critical for employee retention and engagement. This survey explores employee experiences in the workplace and the level of satisfaction with those experiences.
- Team Life Quality and Satisfaction Survey: This survey recognizes that the quality of the team work experience is critical for both the employees and the organization. This survey explores employee experiences in the work team and the level of satisfaction with those experiences.
Leadership Surveys
Our Leadership Assessment surveys are behavioural based, and measure leadership actions in creating and enhancing the conditions necessary for a high performance and high quality work environment. These conditions have been extensively researched, and there is a proven high correlation between leadership behaviour and the quality of the work environment. There are four surveys in this category:
- Leadership Self-Assessment Survey: A high performance and high quality work environment is important for both the employee and the organization. This survey is designed to assess your current leadership actions in relation to creating the core conditions that promote employee commitment and investment, and the achievement of high performance outcomes.
- Leadership Assessment 360 Survey: Data collected from this survey provides a clear picture of the leader's actions. Surveys are completed by the leader's staff, peers and supervisor, providing an objective "360" assessment.
- Team Leadership Self-Assessment Survey: This survey is designed to assess current leadership actions in relation to creating the core conditions that promote team commitment and investment, and the achievement of high performance outcomes.
- Team Leadership Assessment 360 Survey: Data collected from this survey provides a clear picture of the team leader's actions. Surveys are completed by the team leader's staff, peers and supervisor, providing an objective "360" assessment.
